Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965), is an American actor from America. Her role as the main character on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. Following the seventh season Sedgwick won the Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The series ended on August 13th on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her regular role in the role of Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick got an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The actress also appeared in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was a New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) was an educator and therapist for families as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI who was a venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was Episcopalian. She was also of English heritage. Sedgwick declares herself Jewish, and she has said that she participates in Passover seders.
